Frequently Asked Questions

Do I get to keep the yard signs?
No.
Ocala Yard Greetings is a rental service for a specified period of time. We promise that it is way more fun to have someone design, style, set-up and remove the yard greeting display for you. If you would like an option for the person to keep, we offer Keepsake Mini Greetings - which you can order by clicking here.

What does the cost of my Greeting include?
It includes the Greeting rental, set up, break down, & delivery within the Ocala & Marion County, Florida area.

What is the difference between a Small & Large Birthday Greeting?
A Small Birthday Greeting only includes our XL Birthday Cake or a Large Graphic that says Happy Birthday, Name and/or Age in your choice of available colors.
A Large Birthday Greeting includes both Happy Birthday spelled out in full sized letters.


What Areas do you serve?
We are based in Ocala, Florida and will deliver greetings to surrounding towns. We have made deliveries to Belleview, Summerfield, Dunnellon, Silver Springs & Salt Springs. We serve all of the Marion County zip codes.

When will my Yard Greeting Arrive?
Ocala Yard Greetings will set up either the night before or the early morning of your "preferred display date." This depends on weather, inventory and your timing needs. For example - On Top of The World Greetings can only be delivered and picked up early in the morning. Please let us know about your special day's schedule in our Notes section on your Booking if there is anything special. We aim to please and will do our best to accommodate what you need.

How Do I Prepare My Yard For the Greeting?
If there is to be yard maintenance done, please complete it prior to the placement of your greeting. Mowing or watering around the greeting could damage the greeting. Water your yard if it hasn't rained prior to our arrival. Remove pets & their waste.

Can I Remove The Signs Myself?
No.
This must be left to our Ocala Yard Greetings team only. Our greetings are set up and taken down in a specific way to avoid any damage to the signs. Should you want your sign removed early, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate.

Does Someone Need to Be There for the Installation?
No. But if someone will be home, you may want to let them know so that they are aware we will be on the property. For installations at Public venues, we will make special arraignments with you.

I am Ready to Reserve... Now What?
Just go to our Book Your Greeting page and choose the Greeting of your choice. After paying & submitting your Greeting Order, you are good to go. If there are any issues, or if we have any questions about your order, we will contact you to discuss your preferences.

Rental Reservations & Policies

  1. Greetings submitted within 24 hours of the needed date, may not be available. Please contact us at 352-492-5430 to confirm, if booking within 24 hours to greeting date.
  2. Payment is required at the time of booking in order to confirm/hold your reservation/date.
  3. Clients living in gated neighborhoods must pre-arrange for both set-up and take down purposes.
  4. You will be invoiced for any missing or damaged display items not returned at the end of your rental.
  5. For the safety of everyone, please do not allow anyone to play on or around the display. Our display items will not safely support the weight of a child or adult leaning, sitting or playing on it.  
  6. We do ask that you take pride in your display, and treat it with respect. Please do not move the items.
  7. Please do not throw display items in the garbage, or vandalize our signs.  
  8. Please protect our inventory from any damage that might be caused due to flying debris from lawnmowers, dogs, etc. Contact with weed eaters or sprinklers will cause damage as well.
  9. Please do not attach balloons to any part of the display.  
  10. If you have a landscaper scheduled, please arrange for them to come before or after your rental time frame.
  11. We encourage you to pose next to the display to take photographs of your celebration. However, please DO NOT pull the signs from the ground.
  12. Ocala Yard Greetings® and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the reservation period, set-up or removal of any rental.

Refund Policy

  1. If you must cancel your booking, you can choose to receive 1/2 of your booking rate as a refund, or you may leave the full amount on credit for a future booking date, based on our availability.
  2. In the event of inclement weather, we may not be able to set up any lawn displays.  Inclement weather includes lightning/thunderstorms, hurricanes, heavy rain, high winds and any other Act of God that would put us or our products in harms way. We will reschedule for another day. 
  3. No refunds will be given due to the client giving us the wrong address.
  4. No refunds will be given due to the homeowner requesting us to remove the display.
  5. No refunds will be given due to being denied access to a gated community. Clients living in restricted neighborhoods must pre-arrange for access for both set-up and take down purposes.
  6. No refunds will be given due to any animals that prevent the display from being set up.
  7. No refunds will be given for circumstances that prevent us from setting up the display that are out of our control.
Colors, Graphics, and Options are all available on a first paid basis. If there is something you are interested in, we recommend booking and paying as soon as possible.

Rush & Delivery fees may be placed on orders.
